Happy Groundhog Day! Our friend, Punxsutawney Phil, saw his shadow today which means we have 6 more weeks of winter to go through. Yikes! While we brave that together, here's what is happening in our room:
- New Special Class - For the month of February, we will have Practical Living/Careers. Students will have a lot of fun learning about different careers and practical tips of how to be successful as a citizen.
- Valentine's Day Party - Our party will be next Friday, the 13th. The back of the Faulkner Flash has a note about the party (not included below because of names being listed - I sent it as an attachement on Remind). Feel free to bring in food/drinks early but wait to bring the Valentine boxes on the day of the party. Also, it's perfectly fine to use boxes you've made in the past.
- Data notebooks will come home next week to give you an idea of how your child is progressing in reading and math so far in this 9-week period.
